Yes, they're back! After their Hive Audio-debut about a year ago with their 2k15-released Solaris EP our fellow Swiss friends of Sons Of Aoide make a big return with two brand new tunes on their Pulse EP in fall 2k16. The title track Pulse raises the bar in building up tension levels with it's hot and feverish, tribal'esque half-time intro, subtly adding layers and layers of percussive elements before an uplifting stab sequence hypes crowds to the max and a decent TechHouse 4/4 provides final relief after an epic break and one of the longest build-ups in the history of the genre. Mirage, the second musical outing on this one, is on a slightly darker tip with prominent claps, raw hi-hats and a dark'ish, ever present background drone that perfectly compliments the tunes melodic synth waves and 'troity, well-complex sound abstractions that fall into place like beautiful, omni-colored crystals on a shimmering, nacre-covered floor.
