Here we go collabo time! Berlin's Schlepp Geist and Jena's Douglas Greed have been spending some quality studio time together, crafting two amazing tracks for their Hive Audio debut which is also a first in terms of a joint release for these artists as both are widely recognized for their solo cuts on labels like BPitch Control or Freude Am Tanzen as well as Ritter Butzke Studio, Underyourskin Records and many more. With their tune Hub the two producers unfold a deep, late night TechHouse affair that takes advantage of advanced percussive stereo panning on top of a slightly moroder'esque synthline as a solid foundation for slowly floating, imaginative melodies and heavy hitting bass stabs for all lovers of gnarly sawtooth attacks and klaxons. Quite a hypnotic tune for mental journeys and trance-inducing out of body experiences. Immortal, the second tune on this EP introduces the vocal talent of Kristina Sheli which is riding on a more playful variation of the TechHouse sound. Whilst distinct, percussive sequences and meandering, melodic pads provide loads of tension Kristina Sheli's voice creates a more mysterious athmosphere which, once again, is supported by heavy, morphing low end attacks which turn out to be the trademark element for this exceptional collaborational effort that has created an Immortal weapon for pitch black underground venues with this one for sure.
