It's always a great thing to discover and sign new, raw and thriving talent and therefore we're glad to introduce our latest addition to the Hive Audio artist roster Moses Mehdi. Based in Cologne / Germany the young producer has already released a single on Bunny Tiger Dubs earlier this year and is now making his Hive Audio debut with his Serafin EP. The original version of the EP's title track - Serafin - immediately grabs our addition with one single piano chord on the very first beat before evolving into a rolling, luscious TechHouse affair somewhat walking the line and crossing borders twoards territories possibly to be filed under the flag of (Neo)Trance as we'll find heavy, muscular subs providing loads of low end powers whilst rich and complex strings and melodies, non-verbal vocal bits and balearic pianos prepare entire venues for an ultimate lift-off. Next up we see Berlin's praised formation SmashTV on remix duties for Serafin. Steering the tunes overall tone towards new shores the infamous duo strips things down a little to come up with a slightly more minimalistic, tech-driven approach and mostly focuses on the tunes epic, on point piano motif before introducing widescreen string arrangements throughout an epic mid-tune breakdown. Finally Ameretat takes us on a well accelerated rollercoaster ride, presenting a playful approach to low frequency synths which perfectly fall in place with intertwining, uplifting piano lines of most sparkling qualities and masterly crafted strings, redefining Trance for 2016 and, alongside some heavy sawtooth attacks, setting out to make this long lost genre great again. This one's a future classic for a reason!
